This first article written by my new assistant expands upon an alternative to the dark energy hypothesis, which I take be a patently absurd recapitulation of the Ptolemaic epicycles.
It is here, Electric Universe plasma physics. It wipes the floor with big bang theory, black holes and dark matter. It's absolutely beautiful. Niels Bohr knew that there was/is a direct connection to plasma physics and the metaphysics of the Vedanta.
The most recent Don Scott video makes the case for the electromagnetic 'binding' of the Birkeland currents to be just as the ancient fasce was bound.

Can I clarify something on what is proposed. Is the suggestion that this ‘movement along the elliptical perspective effect’ is caused by the movement of objects in the solar system when viewing the rest of the universe? Or is the suggestion that the large scale structure of the universe itself is moving in something like an elliptical rotation?
Sorry that that wasn’t clear; it is the latter. This will be dealt with more directly in a follow-up essay which explains the alternative cosmological model in which this theory is grounded.
Interesting- I have often wondered about a way in which the whole universe was rotating. It’s probably not quite the same as you are suggesting, and perhaps involves the rotation axis being a bit weird in terms of dimensionality, but it’s never really clicked as an idea so would be good to hear a different perspective.
My ‘theory’ is not really a theory, but more a vague conception on how the universe was created, from a vaguely christian neoplatonic perspective. In the tradition, the universe is ‘spoken’ into existence. Of course this is in a sense analogical, but from a Neoplatonic perspective this must be something like energy and information coming ‘down’ the ontological vertical. If you think about the De Sitter expansion phases, it’s possible to see these as someone speaking in an almost univocal sense. Of course creation is ongoing from a Christian (rather than deist) perspective, so it makes sense for ongoing acceleration.
As you can see this is so far from a scientific theory that it seems inappropriate to posit it as a solution to a scientific problem. However it seems appropriate to me that the term Einstein used for the gravitational constant is a capital G :)
